Creekside Farm Stables LLC

Creekside Farm is a full-service Hunter/Jumper boarding and training facility located in Irmo,South Carolina. Our facility is is easily accessible from The University of South Carolina as well as downtown Columbia and its suburbs. Creekside offers training for all levels of horses and riders. Our trainers each have successful records of training riders from the most beginner stages through the advanced levels. We also welcome outside clients on a ship-in basis. Creekside is active on the PSJ, SCHJA and A rated circuits and we offer competitive opportunities for all levels of horse and rider. We are located within hours of popular show venues such as Aiken, Tryon, Raleigh and Conyers.

We believe in a program that is hands on and gives individual attention to each horse and rider. Unlike many show barns, we do not employ a large staff as it is important to us to be able to monitor the care and training of each horse on a daily basis ourselves. Our trainers not only design programs that work for each horse in the ring, but also in the barn, acting as the the sole caregivers for each horse . We pride ourselves on being able to ensure our clients that we know their horses inside and out and are able to give them the highest level of care making sure that no details go un-noticed.

No horse or rider is too green to benefit from what our program has to offer. Our happy horses and riders speak for themselves!

Creekside boasts a beautiful 16 stall, center aisle barn with every ammenity an equine and equine enthusiast could want. Each stall is fully matted and opens to the main aisle as well as to the exterior of the barn. Stalls contain full sets of water and feed buckets as well as fans in the summer months.

An additional 7 stall shed row barn is located on the property that also contains matted and fully equipped stalls as well as a separate tack room, wash stalls and grooming bays.

Ample turnout is available in a variety of grassy paddocks and pastures. Horses are turned out individually or in small groups. Turnout time is dependent on the season.

The interior of the main barn features a large boarder lounge with kitchen area as well as a separate area for tack cleaning, laundry, and a bathroom.

A large tack room is situated on the other side of the aisle and offers ample storage space for tack and equipment in personal lockers both inside the tackroom and in the barn aisle.

Two beautiful, professionally built rings are located to the rear of the main barn. The main arena features a full set of show quality jumps and the smaller dressage ring serves as the perfect place for flatwork and gymnastics or for teaching less experienced riders.

Both rings have great footing made from sand/screenings and are equipped with lights making it possible to ride during the short winter days and in the cooler weather during summer nights.

The Ascot neighborhood was constructed as an equestrian community and therefore features wonderful ammenities for equines including 16 miles of trails throughout the neighborhood, giving Creekside boarders plenty of options for riding and allowing the show horses to have a nice break from regular ring work.
